    Gumpaste Recipe 4 Large egg whites 2 lbs. Confectioners sugar 4 tbs. CAI Tylose Powder™ 4 tsp. Shortening Make Royal Icing by whipping the egg whites and adding confectioners sugar gradually at medium speed and beat 2-3 minutes to soft peak stage. While mixing, add Tylose Powder™ slowly until mixture becomes thick. Scrape out mixture onto a work surface and knead to a smooth consistency. Wrap Gumpaste in plastic wrap and place in a zip lock bag. Keep refrigerated. Allow Gumpaste to come to room temperature before use. Close
